Brock McKee II

Brock McKee II began his horological journey in high school, when he started collecting watches and became deeply interested in the craft of watchmaking. While he started his college education pursuing a degree in accounting, he found himself increasingly drawn to timepieces and dedicated a significant amount of time to learning about them. Eventually he made the decision to attend watchmaking school, and started his new career immediately after graduating in 2015.

To start, McKee gained practical experience by working at jewelry stores and a corporate service center. But, eventually, McKee's desire to share his knowledge and ignite a passion for watchmaking in others pushed him to advance his career into teaching. He is particularly interested in taking students with no prior watchmaking experience and helping them become proficient, certified watchmakers. He aspires for students to leave his class not only with the necessary technical skills, but also with the critical thinking skills that can help them in many aspects of their lives. McKee also believes that his job as an educator does not end when his students complete their training - he is committed to being a resource on which all of his students, past and present, can rely.
