After initially working in the automotive repair industry, Johnny Nguyen switched careers in 2019 and began working at Rolex as a watch technician. During his time at the company, he fell in love with the craft of watchmaking and a few years later was selected to take part in the pilot program for the Rolex Watchmaking Training Center. With a passion for teaching and after successfully completing his watchmaking certification, Nguyen joined the Rolex Watchmaking Training Center team in 2025 as a Junior Technical Instructor, where he is inspired by the students every day. In this role, Johnny strives to motivate, challenge, and champion a new generation of Rolex watchmakers in the same way his teachers and colleagues supported him.
