Tyler Poso’s interest in watches started during his childhood in Salisbury, MD, when he began collecting inexpensive watches of all kinds. After working as a 911 dispatcher, his passion for watches reignited, leading him to switch paths and pursue watchmaking at the North American Institute of Swiss Watchmaking. Poso gained invaluable experience as a service watchmaker and then as a technical supervisor, overseeing teams of watchmakers servicing multiple brands’ watches, however he knew he wanted to become an instructor and share his passion with others. He is particularly interested in the intersection of theory and practice and he enjoys seeing the hard work of his students pay off.
